ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. – A woman in her 40s was shot in Orange County early Friday, according to the sheriff’s office.
Deputies responded around 12:50 a.m. to a shooting reported out of the area of East Pierce Avenue and Dumont Street, the Orange County Sheriff’s Office said in a statement.
The woman was located and hospitalized in serious condition, the statement reads, adding all parties involved were accounted for and there was no threat to the community.
An investigation is ongoing.
