FLAGLER COUNTY, Fla. – A 51-year-old man faces several charges after deputies found drugs, firearms, cash and two objects that appeared to be homemade explosive devices after serving a narcotics-related search warrant at his Palm Coast home on Tuesday.
The warrant was conducted at 34 Burning Ember Lane, according to the sheriff’s office. Deputies located located and seized 28 pounds of cannabis, three firearms, and $1,173 in cash, as well as the devices.

Deputies originally set up a perimeter around the area after they said they discovered the “possible homemade explosive-type device” on Tuesday afternoon.
The St. John’s County Sheriff’s Office’s Bomb Squad responded and took possession of the devices, which deputies said will be analyzed by the federal Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives.

According to the release, deputies also obtained an arrest warrant for Andrew Bouvier, 51, who was taken into custody.
Deputies said that Bouvier faces charges of trafficking in cannabis, possession of cannabis with intent to sell, manufacture, or deliver and possession of drug paraphernalia.
According to the release, the investigation into the explosive devices is ongoing and additional charges are pending.
“Another drug dealer found out the hard way that we won’t let you get away with selling illegal drugs in Flagler County,” said Sheriff Rick Staly. “Our SIU team did an excellent job putting together this case and our SWAT team safely served the search warrant. If you are a poison peddler in Flagler County, we’re coming for you next, so I suggest you take your drug dealing business elsewhere before we shut it down and take you to the Green Roof Inn.”
