ORLANDO, Fla. – A Florida woman driving in Orlando Monday fled a traffic stop and arrest, police say, by hopping back in her SUV and driving off while a police officer was in the back with the suspect’s daughter.
UCF police officers say they stopped Victoria Musaev, 33, of Fort Lauderdale, at the intersection of Livingston Street and Hughey Avenue because she failed to yield the right of way to another vehicle.

According to the arrest report, when an officer asked Musaev for her driver’s license, she said she didn’t have it because it was suspended and had been taken away. When the officer called dispatch to check on her identity, they were told there was a warrant out in Orange County for Musaev’s arrest for DUI.
The officer said they got Musaev out of the vehicle, a red Ford Escape, and brought her back to the patrol vehicle, advised her of the warrant and that she would be put under arrest.
That’s when they say Musaev started to resist and ran back to her SUV, jumped in and placed it in drive. Meanwhile, one of the police officers was in the back seat of the SUV with Musaev’s 6-year-old daughter.
Despite commands to get out of the SUV, police say Musaev drove away. The police officer followed Musaev down Livingston Street to Hampton Avenue, finally stopping at the intersection of Robinson Street and Hampton Avenue. Musaev was placed in custody and taken to the UCFPD substation where she was interviewed, before being taken to Orange County Jail.
Musaev faces a charge of fleeing and eluding police.
