OSCEOLA COUNTY, Fla. – Osceola County Housing and Community Services has announced the opening of applications for its Tenant-Based Rental Assistance program.
From now through Sunday, Jan. 19, eligible residents can apply for the program that offers a range of support, including rental subsidies for up to 24 months, security deposit assistance and case management support. These services aim to provide comprehensive assistance to those in need.
To qualify for the program, applicants must meet certain criteria.
The program is open to households with an income of 60% or below the area median income. Additionally, applicants must be residents of Osceola County for a minimum of at least six months.
Preference will be given to elderly residents and those experiencing the risk of homelessness. The application process involves pre-applications available online, and applicants will be selected through a lottery system.
