Boston-based Sal’s Pizza opens first Florida location in Orlando

Walk-up concept now open at Live! at the Pointe Orlando

ORLANDO, Fla. – A famous Massachusetts-based pizzeria business recently opened its first location in the Sunshine State.

Sal’s Pizza, a walk-up concept, opened on Friday at 9101 International Drive and is open seven days a week.

“Expanding our popular pizza business and bringing the freshest pizza and highest-quality ingredients to Floridians has been a long-time goal of mine,” CEO and President Sal Lupoli of Sal’s Pizza said in a statement. “Opening our first Sal’s Pizza in Florida at Live! at The Pointe has created excitement not only for me, but for our entire Sal’s team.

According to a release, the brand comes from the North End of Boston and has been in business since 1990.

The Orlando location will offer pizza by the slice, both cheese and pepperoni, plus a “rotating specialty slice of the day.” They will also offer their famous 19-inch pie with a variety of toppings.

Sal’s website describes reads in part, “In 1990, Salvatore Lupoli opened his first Sal’s Pizza shop with his brother Nick, in Salem, New Hampshire. Inspired by Boston’s North End eateries, the Lupoli brothers used fresh ingredients, prepared their dough daily, and established a reputation for the best quality.”

The hours are for Sal’s Pizza at Live! at the Pointe Orlando are:

  • Monday - Wednesday: 4 p.m. until 10 p.m.
  • Thursday - Friday: 4 p.m. until 2 a.m.
  • Saturday: 12 p.m. until 2 a.m.
  • Sunday: 12 p.m. until 10 p.m.
