Central Florida voters chose Republican incumbent Daniel Webster to represent Florida's 11th Congressional District.
Webster beat Democrat Dana Cottrell in the general election. The Associated Press called the race with 10 percent of precincts reporting. At that time, Webster was leading with 63 percent of the votes. Cottrell had 37 percent of votes at the time.

After his re-election, Webster issued the following statement to voters:
“Thank you to the voters of Congressional District 11 for supporting my record of fighting for conservative reforms in Washington. We have made progress, but there is more work to be done and my promise is to fight for you and uphold our American values.”
Webster has represented the district, which is comprised of Marion, Sumter and Lake counties and parts of Hernando and Citrus counties, since 2017. The District 11 seat was created by the Florida Supreme Court in 2016.
Before District 11, Webster represented Florida's 10th Congressional District from 2013 to 2016 and District 8 from 2011 to 2012, according to GovTrack.us. He was also elected to the state Senate in 1998 and served as majority leader his last three years, in addition to his time as the state House Republican leader in the '90s, according to his website.
Webster currently sits on three House committees: the Committee on Science, Space and Technology, Committee on Natural Resources and the Transportation and Infrastructure Committee, a report on his website said.
