WINTER PARK, Fla. – There are new details about the death of Roger Trindade after the Orange County Medical Examiner’s Office recently released the Winter Park 15-year-old’s autopsy report.
Winter Park police said in December that the medical examiner’s findings revealed the teen died of blunt-force trauma.

According to the autopsy report obtained by News 6, Trindade suffered a spinal artery tear because of blunt-force trauma to the head, which led to bleeding in the brain, causing his death.
Trindade had bruising under his right eye and behind both his ears. The report did not say how he might have suffered the injuries to his head.
The medical examiner declared the 15-year-old's death a homicide in her report.
Trindade was an organ donor. Several of his vital organs were removed before the autopsy including his heart, spleen and kidneys.
Three teenagers were charged in Trindade’s death almost two months after the teen was found in the popular shopping area of Park Avenue.
Jesse Sutherland, 15, and Simeon Hall, 15, are charged with manslaughter. A 14-year-old boy is charged with tampering with a witness.
Winter Park police said they were waiting on the autopsy results before making any arrests.
All three teens were released to the custody of their parents with GPS monitoring.
Trindade’s death received widespread attention on social media and in his home country of Brazil with calls for the arrests of his accused attackers.
A trial date is scheduled for Feb. 24.
