DELTONA, Fla. – A sinkhole that opened on the campus of Deltona High School will prevent students from using the chorus and band room for at least a couple of weeks, according to school officials.
Volusia County Public Schools said work on the sinkhole is expected to go into mid-September.
The school year begins in Volusia County on August 18.
Work on the sinkhole is expected to cost as much as $400,000.
