TITUSVILLE, Fla. – The military is revealing more possible sites for Starship launches once SpaceX moves operations of the largest, most powerful rocket ever to Florida’s Space Coast.
In 2022, SpaceX built a launch tower for future Starship launches at Launch Complex 39A.
Under a new proposal, SpaceX could also take over the United Launch Alliance pad (SLC-37) where the last of the Delta rockets launch from, or build a new pad from the ground up at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station.
Like in Texas, where SpaceX hopes to launch Starship for a third test flight as soon as March 14, the federal government is also taking into consideration the effects on the local environment.

The same meeting was held Wednesday night in Cocoa at the Central Library.
Starship is more than 70 feet taller and about twice as powerful as NASA’s most powerful rocket, the SLS.
Starship has a very important role in the Artemis program, as well.
It’s going to be the human lander for Artemis III’s mission to the moon.
A third public meeting on Starship’s future locally is also happening Thursday from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Radisson Hotel in Cape Canaveral.
