CAPE CANAVERAL, Fla. – Space will attempt to launch another round of Starlink internet satellites into orbit Friday night.

The Falcon 9 rocket is set to take off from Space Launch Complex 40 at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station at 7:31 p.m., with coverage beginning about six minutes prior.

The 45th Weather Squadron is only giving the launch a 40% chance of favorable weather conditions with the primary concern of high winds at launch time.

There is a backup launch opportunity at 7:06 p.m. Saturday. The odds increase to a 60% chance of favorable weather conditions for that launch opportunity.

According to SpaceX, this will be the 17th flight for the Falcon 9 booster. It is set to land in the ocean on a drone ship called “Just Read the Instructions.”
