CAPE CANAVERAL SPACE FORCE STATION, Fla. – Night owls got to see a rocket lift off from the Space Coast after SpaceX held a midnight launch.
A SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket carried 24 Starlink satellites from Space Launch Complex 40 at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station into space.
This launch continues SpaceX’s program to expand its Starlink satellite constellation and offer global internet services.
After separation, the first stage booster landed on a droneship in the Atlantic Ocean.
This is the sixth flight for that first stage booster, which had previously launched Commercial Resupply-31, Crew-8, Polaris Dawn, and two Starlink missions.
