There is a backup opportunity early Saturday morning at 3:58 a.m. If the rocket doesn’t launch by then, the next option will be 11:39 p.m. Saturday night.

This launch continues SpaceX’s program to expand its Starlink satellite constellation and offer global internet services.

Forecasters at Patrick Space Force Base say there is a 15% chance of thick clouds and liftoff winds jeopardizing the launch.

Should the launch go off, the first stage booster will attempt to land on a droneship in the Atlantic Ocean.

News 6 will stream the launch when it happens.
