Hi, friends! It’s Brenda, back in your inbox for all the Central Florida Happenings.
After last weekend’s nonstop rain, I can’t be alone in being excited for a nicer weekend.
Not saying I didn’t have fun last weekend. I was out doing some shopping and savoring the high of the wonderful (and fabulous) retail therapy.
Enough about that though, here’s what’s happening this weekend (and what I mean by “my jam”). ⤵️
Honestly, a Greek festival is always a good time 🪩.
A weekend of dancing, delicious food and delightful memories await you at this year’s Saint Katherine Greek Festival!
I love it when my free weekends line up with a Greek fest because of the people, food and just overall vibe of them. I’ve been to a few here in the area and in southwest Florida - 10/10 recommend!
This weekend, you can check out traditional folk dances performed by multiple groups of various ages.
Of course, there will be lots and lots to eat while you’re at the festival.

Now, back to the burning question you all have been wondering: “What is this jam she is speaking about?”🤔
Over 70 bands are taking over downtown Sanford this weekend for the annual Sanford Porchfest.
Check out the performances across 18 porches. There is something for everyone, from indie to Americana to folk and more.
Get out there this weekend! 💨
