Breathe in, breathe out 😮‍💨

Merritt Island sunset from PinIt! user MIview (Copyright 2024 by WKMG ClickOrlando - All rights reserved.)

Hi, friends! It’s Brenda, back in your inbox for all the Central Florida Happenings.

Boy, has it been a wild couple weeks. I finally feel like things are settling a tiny tad bit after a roller coaster moment in life, and I can finally take a breath.

And the picture on top of this newsletter (shoutout to PinIt! user MIview) of the sunset in Merritt Island is exactly what I’m feeling now: a sense of peace. How beautiful is our state?

Anyway! Hope everyone takes a breath and finds a little peace in whatever you’re in.

Here’s what’s happening this weekend ⤵️

Shrimp, fish, crab, you name it 🤤.

You can find all the seafood eats at the Grant Seafood Festival this weekend.

You’ll be able to check out over 150 crafters, live entertainment and a whooooole menu of seafood.

Plus, it all goes toward the Grant community!

“All proceeds from the Grant Seafood Festival are put back into the community of Grant — our projects include the Grant Seafood Festival scholarship fund, Grant Community Library, Grant Historical House and The Grant Community Center,” event organizers wrote.

🥃 “Spirited Away:” I just wanted to use that title since I watched the movie last weekend (so good, 10/10 recommend). ANYWAY, the Whiskey In The Cloud Craft Spirit Festival is back with over 30 craft spirit exhibitors. Click here to learn more.

🎨 Over 150 crafters, vendors at Lake Mary art festival: The two-day festival is dedicated to supporting aspiring artists from the Seminole County School District through scholarships funded by festival proceeds, sponsorships and donations. Here’s what else to know.

🎸 FIND ME: A Modern Rock Opera: This weekend, you can catch a show where a live band acts as a narrator, and two strangers learn to connect using more than words. It’s all part of the inaugural Collective Incubator Program at Orlando Fringe’s Fringe ArtSpace: Without Fear Theatre showcase. This weekend is the last weekend! Click here to learn more.

🎡 The fair is back in town - and so is Easton Corbin! Carnival rides, competitive events, food and live entertainment are heading to Sumter County this weekend. News 6 interviewed country singer Easton Corbin, who is performing at the fair. Click here to learn more.

That’s all from me!

I hope everyone has a great weekend, and I’ll catch you all next week.
