Hi, friends! It’s Brenda, back in your inbox for all the Central Florida Happenings.
I had the best time at Animal Kingdom this past weekend, seeing all the animals (CORRA THE BABY ELEPHANT) and hanging out with a friend (former In the Loop writer, Landon!!!). It was so much fun.
Was I unwell for a bit because of the insane heat? Yes. But we made it 💪.
While this weekend won’t be as hot as last and will be a little more rainy, there are still things to get to.
Here’s what’s happening ⤵️

The Latin American Festival of Performing Arts kicks off Monday, celebrating Latin American culture and heritage.
The festival is a celebration of Latin American performing arts that “transcends borders and brings communities together,” event organizers said.
Part of the festival will be virtual and the second half will be at the Fringe ArtSpace in downtown Orlando and consist of live performances of exclusive premieres and other in-person activities.
