There are theme parks or resort chains that are more popular than others.
Some have developed a following, a wolf pack if you will.

When we posted the story about the Great Wolf Lodge opening up its first Florida location this month, I immediately went to the News 6 WKMG/ClickOrlando Facebook page because I knew it was going to get a lot of reaction.
According to its website, Great Wolf Lodge is “North America’s largest family of indoor water park resorts.” They are especially popular in colder climates, which is why a lot of people questioned why Florida’s lodge needs to be in Naples.
While white-sand beaches are nice, sometimes a family wants to cool off at an all-inclusive water park.

ICON Park
Blue is back 💙👨🏻🤐
When it comes to Blue Man Group, their silence speaks volumes.
The iconic trio — known for their mesmerizing stage shows that are a blend of music, color, comedy, and creativity — are coming back to Orlando. It’s the “natural choice,” according to the group’s managing director.
This week, leaders held a groundbreaking for the 500-seat theatre at ICON Park, one that will be designed specifically for Blue Man Group performances.
I’m no structural engineer, so it was hard to wrap my head around the fact that where I was standing during the groundbreaking, at the foot of the Orlando Eye’s east side, is where the theatre is being built. Not only that, but leaders are also optimistic Blue Man Group will be jamming by the end of the year.
What better way to ring in the new year than in Blue Man Group fashion?
SeaWorld Orlando
Here come the Howl-O-Screams 😱
Entering its third year, SeaWorld Orlando promises that Howl-O-Scream will have more scares than ever before.
This year’s lineup includes five haunted houses, seven scare zones, two shows, and five interactive bars. The screams start tonight and will run select nights through Nov. 3, but I’m willing to bet Friday, Sept. 13 will tally the most screams if there is a way to keep track.
The park is hosting its inaugural Howl-O-Sprint 5K Run. The course is full of haunted landscapes, including scare zones and roller coasters teeming with ghostly figures and surprises. I got the chance to see the “survivor’s medal” that will be given out.
Universal Orlando
Here are the rankings 👻
I fondly remember working as a Universal Orlando Team Member during Halloween Horror Nights and I relived those memories during my HHN 33 media night.
I definitely smiled more than screamed. I was also braver than I believed.
Continuing the tradition of ClickOrlando.com, I made a ranking of just the haunted houses. If you’re only going to attend one night and aren’t willing to spend money on add-ons to make the wait time shorter or bypass lines, this list might help you decide on the must-sees.
I judged the houses based on fear and fun. The most fun house got the edge over the scariest house for the top spot.
Walt Disney World
Investing in villains 😈
‘Tis the season for villains.
Disney Villains made big news just a few weeks ago when word got out that Walt Disney World was officially planning for a Villains Land at Magic Kingdom.
There’s no timeline for that, but we will have villains starting next year at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. The Sunset Showcase will be transformed into a mysterious, reflective realm of the Magic Mirror.
This also means that the days are numbered for Lightning McQueen’s Racing Academy. Click here for all the details.
If you find yourself going to any of the Halloween events in Central Florida, post photos to our PinIt! page. There’s an “In The Loop” channel.
