Many will agree that there’s nothing quite like a Disney theme park vacation.
So what does that say about a Disney cruise?

Ahoy, subscribers, it is the captain of In the Loop: Theme Park Scoops, Haley.
We are just days away from the anticipated arrival of the Disney Treasure, as the ship is currently making a transatlantic journey.
The Disney Treasure marks the second ship in the Triton class. Like its sister ship, the Disney Wish, the Treasure will mark Port Canaveral as its home.
The cruise industry in general is booming, and based on what there is to enjoy on Treasure, you can see why Disney Cruise Line is in the midst of a massive expansion of its entire fleet.
I’ve put together a little explainer on all three ships of the Triton class.
As I was putting this newsletter together, I found out that the Treasure’s horn will have seven new arrangements of Disney tunes, including “Grim Grinning Ghosts,” “Remember Me” and “A Whole New World.”
You can expect a lot more details on the Disney Treasure in the days to come.
Anyway, let’s move back to land.
Disney Conservation
Disney takes gold 🥇
This summer, two sea turtles made a splash at Disney’s Vero Beach Resort as they were selected for the annual Tour de Turtles, a program that follows the migration of sea turtles.
It’s been a tradition for nearly 20 years and for the first time, Disney Conservation’s sponsored turtle Ebb won the race.
I’m going to say that I was the good luck charm, as I had the pleasure of talking to reps from the Disney Conservation team shortly before the release.
Fittingly, Disney Cruise Line sponsored the other sea turtle, Flo.
Walt Disney World
Festive food ⛄
I’m picturing this year’s holiday food lineup at Disney World to be like the feast from ”A Christmas Carol,” and I’d like to be the Ghost of Christmas Present.
There is a jolly assortment of sweet and savory offerings this year and most of them don’t require theme park admission.
For a fun festive night, I can recommend the holiday menu at Jock Lindsey’s Hangar Bar at Disney Springs. Gasparilla Island Grill at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa is also a favorite for a quick treat.
This weekend also marks the kick-off to Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party and Jollywood Nights.
SeaWorld Orlando
Set “sale” at SeaWorld 🎢
SeaWorld and Aquatica are allowing you to get a head start on that Black Friday shopping.
Everyone can appreciate a good deal, and if you live in Central Florida, an annual pass or theme park ticket is a great gift.
For the limited-time Black Friday ticket pre-sale, you can save up to 65% until Sunday.
The sale is timely as the park welcomes the holiday season. Tonight marks the first night of Coasters After Dark – Christmas Edition.
For Veterans Day, if you find yourself at EPCOT, the Portraits of Courage display at The American Adventure is worth a visit. I’m also working on a special Veterans Day assignment that I look forward to sharing later.
Feel free to keep me in the loop through my email or reach out to me on my X or Instagram.
I’ll see you next week.
