Lake County Animal Shelter at critical capacity after Hurricane Irma

LAKE COUNTY, Fla. – Management at the Lake County Animal Shelter is working to get results for dozens of animals after Hurricane Irma. 

Officials told News 6 that the shelter is at critical capacity because it's housing more than 200 dogs.

The Lake County Animal Shelter has taken in an additional 125 animals since the storm and more are coming in each day, according to its manager. 

The shelter is now asking for volunteers to foster animals.
