You don't have to say it out loud if you don't want to, but you can also shout it from the rooftop if that suits you. If you identify yourself as LGBTQ — or maybe you're curious or unsure if you might — know you are never alone. There are thousands of lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and questioning youth.
Each and every one has a safe place to gather and be among peers who fully understand their uniqueness and participate as a diverse member of the community.
Within the community at Orlando Youth Alliance, there is help and support for anyone who needs it.
Do you need some help, someone to talk to or just someone to listen?
Maybe you're dealing with a bad situation at home, being harassed at school or are having negative emotional or physical problems associated with your sexuality. Know that at OYA there are people who WANT to intervene and provide a safe place.
It is where you can meet friends, be offered different counseling options, should you choose, get help in how to deal with parents who don't understand what you're going through, get mediation for school, plus other tools that can help.
You can remain absolutely anonymous and still be provided with all of the above.
Reach out to the OYA by email or by calling 407-244-1222.
