ORLANDO, Fla. – On Thursday, the University of Central Florida Knights defeated Temple University 52-40, resulting in a surprising two-spot downgrade to No. 11 in the AP Poll.
While the Knights can’t claim top 10 anymore, their next opponent most likely won’t help their strength of schedule.
UCF will be in the Bounce House once again next week, playing American Athletic Conference competitor Navy.
Navy is currently 2-9 in the regular season and 0-4 in conference play.
While the Knights are familiar with Navy, any team still has to prepare for their unique triple-option offense.
