It’s the second-longest road losing streak in franchise history. ... Coach Doug Marrone and his wife, the daughter of former Middle Tennessee State coach Boots Donnelly, still have a farm outside Nashville. ... QB Gardner Minshew completed 19 of 20 passes for 173 yards and three TDs in Week 1. He became the first quarterback in NFL history to throw for at least three TDs and complete at least 95% of his passes on opening weekend. This will mark Minshew’s 16th career start, giving him a full season. He has thrown for 3,444 yards, with 24 TDs and six INTs in the first 15 games. ... Jacksonville started three rookies in the opener: running back James Robinson, cornerback CJ Henderson and receiver Laviska Shenault. Robinson totaled 90 yards from scrimmage, second in the league for rookies behind Kansas City’s Clyde Edwards-Helaire (138). Henderson had four pass breakups, including an interception, and one on a fourth-down play that sealed the victory. Shenault had a receiving touchdown and ran twice out of the wildcat formation. ...
