UCF announced Friday on social media that players will wear the QR codes during Saturday’s scrimmage, saying, “The future of college football is still here.”

In the video announcement, it shows someone scanning the QR code of Isaiah Bowser, with the cellphone user then being taken to a bio about the UCF running back.

The bio pages also include social media handles and player merchandise stores that are now permitted under the name, image and likeness initiative that the NCAA started allowing last year.

UCF’s spring game takes place at noon at the Bounce House in Orlando.
