ORLANDO, Fla. – An athlete at Edgewater High School is soaring to the next level in college soccer.
Ovella Ariail is a star soccer player for the Edgewater Eagles. The senior forward delivered on the field by scoring goals throughout her career with the Eagles.

Last week at National Signing Day, Ariail joined the long list of students at Edgewater who have committed to playing at the next level.
Ariail signed to Western Carolina, a school she says is a perfect fit.
“Everyone is seen as an individual, but you’re not seen as how much scholarship you’re on or the legacy you have” Ariail said. “Everyone is just seen by the person they are and how they play. That was a really big, important thing for me because I’ve been on teams where that wasn’t really the standard. It was really reassuring to hear that that’s what they value.”
