Orlando Magic unveil new uniform. Check it out and vote for your fave over the years

NBA team holds ceremony at Amway Center

ORLANDO, Fla. – The Orlando Magic celebrated the team’s 35th season in the NBA by unveiling a new “classic” uniform.

The Magic held a jersey reveal ceremony Friday at the Amway Center, featuring former players Nick Anderson, Bo Outlaw, Rashard Lewis and Hedo Turkoglu and current player Jalen Suggs, who showcased the new digs.

The new uniform (see below) has “Magic” written across the front, with a star as the “A” and the dot over the “I” and dark blue stars over a slightly lighter blue throughout the pattern. The jersey also features black pinstripes on either side.

“We were thrilled to be able to host a celebration recognizing 35 years of Magic basketball for our season ticket holders and partners who have been with us from the beginning,” Orlando Magic CEO Alex Martins said in a statement. “For more than three decades, Magic fans have told stories about their love for the team and in particular this Heart and Hustle era. A team that stands for hard work and determination, leaving everything out on the court. These traits are forever woven into the 35-year fabric of our organization and bring great pride to Magic fans and our city alike. We celebrate the endless devotion of our fans with this year’s Classic Edition uniform.”

The Magic also unveiled a new court design that will be featured during all Classic Night home games when the team will don the new uniform.

The first Classic Night, debuting the uniform and court, will be on opening night, Oct. 25 when the Magic host the Houston Rockets.

The team kept its original jersey until 1998, but has changed its look several times over the decades. (See all the uniforms below.)
