Despite Charlotte’s Duncan McGuire being given a yellow card and Scott Arfield a red card, the team managed to keep its lead over the City through the rest of the first half.

However, the City rebounded in the second half with a goal by Duncan McGuire, evening out the score.

The Charlotte retook their lead just a short while later, but City’s Facundo Torres took another score just a few minutes after, bringing the scoreboard 2-2.

The match went into five minutes’ overtime, though neither team was able to score on the other again, leaving the game tied up for both the Charlotte and the City.

In the meantime, City’s next match is scheduled to be against the Chicago Fire FC on Saturday at 7:30 p.m.
