100mph ride around Daytona International Speedway with Sports Director Jamie Seh

Daytona International Speedway president Frank Kelleher drove a pace car around the track

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – News 6 Sports Director Jamie Seh got up close and personal with speed in several laps around the iconic Daytona International Speedway.

In a Toyota Camry TRD pace car, Daytona International Speedway President Frank Kelleher drove Seh around the track, hitting speeds up to 100 mph.

Kelleher talked about his driving career and his personal experience being a fan of racing, all while keeping two eyes on the road and two hands on the wheel.

This leads up to a big weekend in NASCAR with the Coke Zero Sugar 400 this Saturday, Aug. 24, at 7:30 p.m. It is the second to last race in the Cup Series regular season before the playoffs begin.

The Wawa 250, the Xfinity Series race, takes place this Friday, Aug. 23, at 7:30 p.m. at Daytona International Speedway.
