According to Universal, the story behind the house surrounds Bobby "The Blade" Galleta, a ruthless serial killer who was given a death sentence through the electric chair.
"2000 volts of electricity are going to send Bobby Galleta into a horrific realm of suffering," Universal wrote on its Facebook page. "Witness the brutal vengeance of his victims as they turn his afterlife into an inescapable hell."
The haunted house was revealed as a part of Universal Orlando's "Reveal Week." The park will unveil a new theme every day at midnight through August 16.
Halloween Horror Nights 23 runs on select nights from September 20 through November 2.
