The popular role-playing adventure, the Sorcerers of the Magic Kingdom, will be ending at the theme park on Jan. 24.

The game has been in place for almost nine years after being introduced to fans back in 2012. Guests would stop by the Firehouse on Main Street, U.S.A. to sign up and receive a Sorcerer Key Card, Merlin’s mystical map and spell cards. Guests would then travel around the Magic Kingdom to locate 20 Magic Portals and use the cards provided to battle Disney villains.
Over the past several years, Disney has allowed fans of the game to collect limited edition cards that were available during the theme park’s special events. The last card offered was the ‘Pluto’s Toppling Popcorn’ card in late 2019.
A Disney spokeswoman said the game is ending due to a change in guest behavior.
