1. Fun Spot America — Orlando

Fun Spot America is a staple of the Orlando theme park scene, and it offers much lower prices than other nearby parks, U.S. News reports.

Along with some smaller roller coasters, the park also features drop rides, spin rides, a Ferris wheel, splash pads, a “sky coaster” and multiple go-kart tracks for racing.

2. Walt Disney World Resort — Orlando

The Walt Disney World Resort is made up of four smaller theme parks, including Magic Kingdom, EPCOT, Hollywood Studios and Animal Kingdom.

With a multitude of parks themed around both classic and modern Disney properties, it’s little wonder why the Disney resort is so popular with native Floridians and tourists alike.

Each area also offers its own on-site lodging options with activities and areas to explore, as well as select hotels that offer transportation to and from the parks.

3. Busch Gardens Tampa Bay — Tampa

Busch Gardens Tampa Bay consists of both the main theme park and Adventure Island water park, offering a mix of rides and water-based fun for the family.

In addition, the park has a zoo with more than 200 species of animals, including rhinos, cheetahs, giraffes and plenty of other exotic creatures.

The park has released a brand-new ride in 2023 dubbed the “Serengeti Flyer,” which is marketed as “the world’s tallest and fastest ride of its kind.”

Smaller children may also enjoy the Sesame Street Safari of Fun, which hosts kid-friendly rides and shows featuring classic Sesame Street characters.

4. Universal Orlando Resort — Orlando

Meanwhile, those looking for a quick splash can plan on heading to Volcano Bay, which acts as Universal Orlando’s water park.
