LAKE BUENA VISTA, Fla. – Summer House on the Lake has now brought its essence of perpetual summer to Disney Springs at Walt Disney World Resort.
The latest creation by Lettuce Entertain You, the restaurant boasts a California-inspired menu and introduces the brand’s inaugural “Cookie Bar.”

Marking its fourth location, the Disney Springs location joins the ranks of establishments in Chicago, IL, North Bethesda, MD, and Las Vegas, NV, along with airport venues nationwide.

“We’re thrilled to infuse locally sourced ingredients and inspiration into the menu at Summer House on the Lake,” said Summer House on the Lake Chef Ben Goodnick. “While the Summer House menu is rooted in the simplicity and variety of Southern California, our goal for this location is to incorporate the fresh, bold flavors of Florida’s endless summer, too, like Key West shrimp, grouper from the Gulf of Mexico, citrus and other local produce.”

Seasonal specials include Wagyu Beef, main course salads and Caribbean-inspired flavors. Other food highlights include artisan pizzas, caramelized brussels sprouts and ahi tuna tostadas, while hand-held options like the turkey stack sandwich and crispy Baja fish tacos cater to lunch and dinner preferences.
The extensive kids’ menu offers familiar favorites like grilled cheese, pasta with meatballs along with gluten-free options available.
Summer House on the Lake also introduces “The Cookie Bar,” featuring 15 varieties of oversized cookies and bars, such as Sea Salt Chocolate Chip, Birthday Cake, Oatmeal Scotchie, Apple Oatmeal and Vegan Snickerdoodle. The Rosé Cart and a diverse drink menu, including craft cocktails and zero-proof options, enhance the dining experience.
“Designed in collaboration with renowned architecture and design firm Rockwell Group, Summer House seamlessly blends indoor and outdoor dining with three bars and an airy, natural light-filled dining room centered around a lush tree reaching up to a skylight,” the company said in a news release.
Reservations for Summer House on the Lake are now open on OpenTable.
The restaurant will be open from 11 a.m. to 11:30 p.m. on weekdays, 9 a.m. to 11:30 p.m. on Saturdays, and 9 a.m. to 11 p.m. on Sunday.
