ORLANDO, Fla. – Universal Orlando is gearing up for a spectacular New Year’s Eve.
The resort is inviting guests to welcome 2024 with a range of special experiences throughout the resort.

From popular attractions to festive décor, live DJ music, and appearances by beloved characters, guests can revel in the joy of the season at both of the resort’s theme parks. As the clock strikes midnight, a special countdown will unfold at Universal Studios Florida’s Music Plaza area and Universal Islands of Adventure’s Port of Entry area.
Universal Orlando said both parks will stay open until 1 a.m.
Guests can also savor in some of the holiday festivities including Christmas in The Wizarding World of Harry Potter, Grinchmas, Universal’s Holiday Parade featuring Macy’s and more.
Universal CityWalk will also host a countdown to midnight, featuring a burst of confetti to mark the arrival of 2024.
Guests will encounter festive entertainment, including music by a live band and DJ. One of Universal CityWalk’s original concept restaurants, Bigfire, will offer a special menu from midnight to 1:30 a.m., commemorating the new year. Leaders said reservations are encouraged.
For those seeking an elevated celebration, Universal Orlando’s hotels present enticing options.
Universal’s Aventura Hotel will host a New Year’s Eve rooftop party, while Loews Portofino Bay Hotel will feature the Party on the Piazza, both including delicious food, drinks, a DJ, and a countdown to midnight. Hard Rock Hotel will host ROCK-in 2024 with balloon artists, roaming magicians, a DJ, a midnight balloon drop, and a champagne toast.
Other hotel celebrations include Loews Royal Pacific Resort’s festivities in Orchid Court Lounge and Sushi Bar, and Loews Sapphire Falls Resort’s New Year’s Eve celebration with live entertainment, food, and drinks in Strong Water Tavern.
