ORLANDO, Fla. – Universal Orlando is preparing to close one of its popular gift shops at Universal CityWalk.
This weekend, guests will get their final chance to explore and shop for the ultimate souvenir inside the Universal Legacy Store.

“The Universal Legacy Store is closing effective January 7 to make way for an exciting new experience for our guests. Stay tuned – more details will be revealed soon,” Universal Orlando said in a statement to News 6.
The store opened in 2021, ushering in the opportunity for guests to get an up-close look at props, photographs and models from some of Universal Orlando’s popular attractions and shows.
Over the past couple weeks, many of those props have begun to disappear from the store, causing some of Universal Orlando’s biggest fans to wonder what would be coming next. The Universal Legacy Store was one of two gift shops guests could explore inside Universal CityWalk. The resort’s flagship gift shop, the Universal Studios Store, is located just steps from the Legacy store.
Universal Orlando has not said what will be replacing the merchandise location.
