BAY LAKE, Fla. – The sights and sounds of spring are being planted right now at Walt Disney World Resort, with the EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival gearing up for a big celebration.
Starting on Feb. 28, guests can explore and spot a handful of beautiful topiaries, enjoy the Garden Rocks concert series and savor delicious dishes throughout the vibrant season.

All new this year, guests will have the chance to see “Groot” from Marvel’s “Guardians of the Galaxy” take root. The brand new topiary, located just steps from Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind, will join more than 70 others topiaries scattered across the theme park. In addition, Asha, Valentino and the Wishing Star, from the Walt Disney Studio Animation Studios film “Wish” will be featured as topiaries at the park’s main entrance.

The Garden Rocks concert series amps up the atmosphere daily at the American Gardens Theatre.
“This year, we’ll welcome new groups, including Modern English, Crowder, Lit, and Monsieur Perine. And for the first time, Raul Acosta & Oro Solido will share the stage with Magic Juan, then return the next day with Luisito Ayala and The Puerto Rican Power Band in a series of unforgettable performances,” Disney described on its blog.
Dining Packages for the Garden Rocks concert series open on Feb. 6 for those seeking priority seating and the chance to eat at one of seven EPCOT restaurants.
A basket full of flavors will entice foodies at this year’s festival Outdoor Kitchens.
Guests will get the chance to try dishes like Chicken & Waffles, the Muffuletta Panini or the Chocolate Whisky Cake. The festival also caters to interactive fun for families to enjoy including Spike’s Pollination Exploration scavenger hunt, the Egg-stravaganza Hunt (happening for a limited-time during the Easter season), a butterfly house and a camp-themed play garden for families with small children.
Festival merchandise will also be available at select locations around the theme park.
On its blog, Disney shared a first look at some of the merchandise that features the Orange Bird character. Disney said for those unable to attend, official event merchandise, including Orange Bird apparel and a Butterfly Collection featuring Minnie Mouse, will be available on shopDisney starting March 4.
The 2024 EPCOT International Flower and Garden Festival will run through May 27.
The theme park is currently hosting the EPCOT International Festival of the Arts, which runs through Feb. 19.
