The news comes as Disney plans to reimagine the classic attraction into the Country Bear Musical Jamboree, a toe-tappin’ extravaganza that pays homage to the Opry-style shows of Nashville.

While fans can expect to catch some familiar tunes in the bear rendition, the real bear-illiance lies in the introduction of new, reinterpreted Disney melodies spanning various genres of country music – from bluegrass to pop-country, Americana to rockabilly and many more.
The bears behind the scenes are working fur-iously to create a show that promises knee-slappin’ and paw-tappin’ fun.
On Friday, videos and pictures on social media showed long lines of people waiting to see the show one final time. Some people voiced their dissapointment after Disney was forced to cancel the last show due to technical difficulties.
To give fans a sneak peek into the musical bear-volution, Disney shared a clip at Destination D23, offering a glimpse into the recording session for the Country Bear Musical Jamboree.
Disney did not give a reopening date for the attraction this summer.
