Linking the Egypt and Congo sections of the park, this cable car expedition, temporarily shut down in 2020 amidst the pandemic and has endured closures for maintenance purposes. Building anticipation, back in December, the park put out a video showcasing a blue gondola gliding above the park, accompanied by a caption signaling “testing” was underway.

The park said on the attraction will operate, weather permitting. Riders must be 56″ or accompanied by a supervising companion.

The attraction will be $5 for guests, and Busch Gardens Tampa Bay pass members can ride for free.

Busch Gardens Tampa Bay plans to open another attraction this year, Phoenix Rising, a thrilling new roller coaster in the park’s Pantopia area.
