Universal Orlando seeking superfans to host trip planning vlogger-style series

‘The Fanny Pack’ accepting virtual auditions through July 29

Discover Universal, the destination’s trip-planning hub, is on the hunt for theme park enthusiasts to be the stars of its brand-new YouTube series. (Universal Orlando Resort)

ORLANDO, Fla. – Universal Orlando Resort is conducting a star search for its new vlogger-style series.

The superfans will participate in on-camera video content for its YouTube Channel. “The Fanny Pack” will highlight Universal Orlando experiences through unscripted and improvised video segments, challenges, and additional fun video content.

The series audition process asks content creators to submit vlogger-style tour of their favorite local spots, like a coffee shop or park.

Participants should cover these six talking points on camera:

  • A memory of yours from Universal Orlando Resort
  • A personal history of a love for a Universal Intellectual Property
  • When entering Universal Islands of Adventure, which direction do you go? Left or right?
  • An example of one thing that helps you instantly know you’ve met a fellow Universal superfan
  • A favorite hack or planning tip for visiting Universal Orlando Resort
  • Do you have any friends who you would love to vlog about Universal Orlando Resort with?

The audition should not exceed 7 minutes in runtime. Email your audition materials to discoveruniversal@mullencasting.com with the subject line “AUDITION – [Your Name].” The deadline to submit is July 29.

Experience vlogging or creating digital content is preferred but not required. Fans must reside in the Orlando, Florida, area to audition.

“The Fanny Pack” will live under the Discover Universal umbrella, the destination’s trip-planning hub.
