BAY LAKE, Fla. – Much like “It’s a Small World”, a certain song from the Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind playlist will be playing over and over, but for one day only.

In a post on its Instagram account, Walt Disney World announced that “September” by Earth, Wind & Fire will play on repeat on Saturday, Sept. 21.

“September” is one of six songs that are randomly selected while riding the attraction.

The 1978 hit opens with a familiar funk groove track and the lyrics, “Do you remember...the 21st night of September?”

The song has turned Sept. 21 into an unofficial holiday, even labeling it “Earth, Wind & Fire Day”.

Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind has become a fan-favorite rollercoaster since its opening in May 2022, and operates only with a virtual queue.
