Along with the addition of a fourth ship in the Wish class, this new class of ships will debut between 2027 and 2031.
In order for Disney Cruise Line to expand globally and reach its environmental goals, the three new vessels will be able to carry 3,000 guests and measure approximately 100,000 gross tons, Disney Cruise Line shared in a news release.
They are smaller in size compared to the Disney Dream, Wish, and Treasure — which can accommodate 4,000 passengers — but larger than the Disney Magic, which has a capacity of just over 2,700 passengers.

Constructed at the Meyer Werft shipyard in Germany, and designed by Walt Disney Imagineering, Disney said the vessels will be the lightest cruise ships of their size in the industry and energy efficient, saving fuel with a streamlined hull, next-generation power, and propulsion systems.
The three ships are planned for delivery in 2029, 2030 and 2031. Disney Cruise Line currently fields six vessels.
“As we expand our fleet, it is important that we continue to provide a variety of experiences for our guests. Families enjoy the diversity of vacations we offer, from our classic vessels to our Wish-class ships. They also expect to explore a broad range of destinations, including those that prefer to host smaller ships,” said Thomas Mazloum, president, New Experiences Portfolio & Disney Signature Experiences. “At the same time, we are focused on implementing new technology and designs that align with our longstanding commitment to the environment.”
The Disney Wish class of ships is also known as the Triton class.
Disney Destiny (the third in the Wish class) will homeport at Port Everglades, in Fort Lauderdale, and the Disney Adventure will homeport in Singapore. Both are slated to set sail in late 2025.
As part of its recently announced relationship with Oriental Land. Co., Ltd., Disney Cruise Line plans to launch a year-round cruise ship in Tokyo in 2029.
Altogether, Disney Cruise Line plans to expand its fleet to a total of 13 by 2031.
