WINTER HAVEN, Fla. – With an opening day on the horizon, SEA LIFE Florida gave a behind-the-scenes look inside the attraction at Legoland Florida Resort.
In a construction tour, guests got a glimpse of the underwater world set to open on May 23.

SEA LIFE Florida will feature 25 interactive exhibits including a main ocean display with a “Theme Park Under the Sea” design, a unique theme not found in any other SEA LIFE aquarium, according to a news release from Legoland Florida.

The aquarium is designed with children in mind, the release said, “a vibrant freshwater gallery, a colorful stingray bay, and a hands-on invertebrate touch pool.”
Visitors will also get to encounter more than 3,000 animals representing 150 different species from Florida’s coastal waters and around the world, including blacktip reef sharks, blue-spotted stingrays, big-belly seahorses, and more.
