BREVARD COUNTY, Fla. – A 27-year-old woman was killed Monday in a motorcycle crash on State Road 520 in Brevard County, according to the Florida Highway Patrol. Troopers said the crash took place Monday afternoon near Cox Road. All westbound lanes of SR 520 were temporarily shut down following the crash, according to troopers. A truck trailer was in the left lane on SR 520. According to a witness, the motorcycle rider attempted to make a right turn on a red light into the left lane hitting the rear of truck trailer.
