Brevard County deputies arrested a man last month, accused of killing his wife, some weeks after his pickup truck was found ablaze in Port St. John. That man’s son was arrested on Tuesday, accused of setting the vehicle on fire.

The husband of a woman who was reported missing in January and later found dead in Mims was arrested in connection with her death.

An Amber alert activated by the Florida Department of Law Enforcement for 7-year-old Ashley Ordaz was canceled Saturday night after the girl was found safe, according to FDLE and the Palmetto Police Department.

ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. – A man accused of kidnapping an 11-year-old Apopka girl who was at the center of an Amber alert is now back in Orange County facing new sex crime charges, records show. An Amber alert was issued Sept. 26 for a child who was last seen on West Kelly Park Road in Apopka then later canceled when the 11-year-old girl was found with 26-year-old Keith Edward Green Jr. later that night during a traffic stop in Santa Rosa County, according to documents from the Orange County Sheriff’s Office. His plan was to say that the girl was his niece and that he had custody of her because her parents died, records show. Green was initially being held at the Santa Rosa County Jail on charges of kidnapping, interference with custody and luring or enticing a child. Documents explaining the newly added charges have not yet been made available.

He faces charges of kidnapping, interference with custody, and luring or enticing a child. He’s being held at the Santa Rosa County Jail until he can be extradited to Orange County.

POLK COUNTY, Fla. – Officers are searching for Amber Jones, 15, she has been missing since Feb. 3, according to the Winter Haven Police Department. Police said she left her home on Chandler Driver in Winter Haven around 9:45 p.m. on Feb. 3. Amber has not contacted friends or family since she left, according to police.
