“60 Minutes” has scheduled its quadrennial interview special with presidential candidates, and it won't be on a Sunday night.

CBS News has moved fast to reconfigure the “CBS Evening News” after announcing the exit of Norah O'Donnell as anchor of the third-rated newscast earlier this week.

The famous stopwatch will still announce the show as “60 Minutes.”.

The “60 Minutes+” program will debut March 4 with three separate episodes, the network announced Wednesday. For “60 Minutes+,” CBS is repurposing a team put together last year for a similar program, “60 in 6,” on the ill-fated Quibi platform. AdWhile “60 in 6” had shorter stories than the TV version of “60 Minutes,” the Paramount version will go longer.
