October recognizes LGBTQ History Month. A joyful celebration all month long -- honoring the historical achievements of Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, and Queer community.

One of the biggest LGBTQ events in Florida returns with a full week of activities culminating in a festival, parade and fireworks around Orlando’s Lake Eola.

Tens of thousands are expected in downtown Orlando this weekend as one of Florida’s largest pride festivals returns to Lake Eola Park.

The City of Orlando plans to put in a bid to host World Pride in October of 2026. Pride officials hope to pay tribute to Pulse victims and survivors 10 years after massacre.

Come Out With Pride festival and parade is on Saturday, October 9, Extra Covid precautions will include an extended parade route to accomodate social distancing. Those attending are being asked to wear a mask.

Pride Week in Orlando starts with a Drag Race 5k and ends with a parade.
