Two people were shot to death in Orlando, officials say.

A man shot and killed two people in a Volusia County home over an argument about the electricity, according to the Volusia County Sheriff’s Office.

ORLANDO, Fla. – A man and woman were shot to death late Thursday at a busy intersection in Orange County, according to officials. The double fatal shooting happened around 11 p.m. near the Raceway Motel in the 4700 block of North Orange Blossom Trail near John Young Parkway. Kenny Webster said he was at the Raceway Motel on the corner of Orange Blossom Trail and John Young Parkway when he heard multiple gunshots. “As soon as they opened the door and I stepped in we heard shots and all of us dropped to the ground,” he said. Southbound lanes of North Orange Blossom Trail from Parkway Center Court to John Young Parkway reopened around 6:45 a.m. Friday.
