Last fall, the classic Maelstrom ride in Norway closed to make way for a ride based on the movie "Frozen." The new permit shows Disney plans to go next door in a 13,000-square-foot building to help meet demand. "Disney is already making a lot of money off of 'Frozen' in the theme parks," Pilcher said. "Fake snow to make it more realistic for the ride because it's 'Frozen,' and there's snow in 'Frozen,'" he said.

"Frozen" tells the story of how Anna and Elsa overcome Elsa's terrible power to turn everything into ice and snow. The park is offering a VIP package deal for Frozen fun at $59 for adults and $34 for kids on top of regular park admission. The deal includes reserved viewing for special events and a VIP dessert party before the fireworks.
