“Groundhog Day” is back.

We all know that predicting the weather is not a perfect science, but it is certainly better than trusting a rodent for your pinpoint-accurate weather forecasts.

He gets most of the PR, at least nationally, but Punxsutawney Phil isn't the only groundhog to purport to predict the weather.

A furry critter in a western Pennsylvania town has predicted six more weeks of winter during an annual Groundhog Day celebration.

So, how well do you believe Punxsutawney Phil’s ability to judge whether there will be an early spring?

Fifteen years ago three tornadoes touched down in the early morning on Groundhog Day. This recalls where it happened and how it impacted residents.
