The deadly incident happened about 10 a.m. at the Quality Inn and Suites, 3901 N. Atlantic Avenue, located along the beachside. Callers reported that the woman had fallen, prompting Cocoa Beach Police along with a Cocoa Beach Fire Department crew to respond. Paramedics removed the unidentified woman from the hotel grounds and took her to Cape Canaveral Hospital. She was then airlifted to Holmes Regional Medical Center where doctors later pronounced her dead, Cocoa Beach police reported.
