Three Sanford-area schools have canceled their classes for Wednesday due to a water main break on Tuesday afternoon, according to Seminole County Public Schools.

The Central Florida Expressway Authority said it is still in the early phases of a proposed project to connect State Road 417 with the Orlando-Sanford International Airport.

SANFORD, Fla. – A 12-year-old student was identified and located Tuesday in connection with a threat at a Seminole County middle school, officials said. Seminole County Public Schools said a student made a threat to Millennium Middle School and authorities investigated the credibility of the claim. “There is no threat to the Millennium campus,” school officials said in an updated message sent to parents. There was an extra presence of law enforcement officials on campus due to the threat, which was deemed non-credible. At this time, law enforcement is presently investigating the credibility and source out of an abundance of caution.
