Troopers said the crash took place Friday afternoon near County Road 42 and Big Oak Road. AdWhile the 81-year-old driver was making the turn, he hit the motorcyclist, throwing him from his bike, according to the report. The motorcyclist, who was wearing a helmet at the time, was taken to Waterman Hospital, where he later died, troopers said. Troopers said the crash remains under investigation.

A 22-year-old motorcyclist was killed in a crash Monday after a car making a turn in Orange County drove into the rider, according to the Florida Highway Patrol. The driver of a sedan was driving east on Clarcona Road around 3 p.m. when they turned into the direct path of the 22-year-old motorcyclist while attempting to make a left turn on Red Bone Lane, troopers said. The sedan struck the bike ejecting the driver, according to the crash report. The motorcyclist, who has not been identified yet, died at the hospital. The crash remained under investigation.

VOLUSIA COUNTY – A male motorcyclist died after being ejected from his seat in a Volusia County crash on Sunday, according to the Florida Highway Patrol. The man was traveling westbound on the entrance ramp to I-4 from US-92 when he lost control and struck a guard rail, troopers said. The man was ejected and died on the scene, troopers said.

COCOA – A motorcyclist is in serious condition after losing control from his bike and being thrown off of it, according to the Florida Highway Patrol. The motorcyclist was traveling southbound on US-1, troopers said. Both a passing vehicle and a Cocoa Police Department car struck what was left of the motorcycle on the road, troopers said.

BREVARD COUNTY – A male motorcyclist was killed following a crash at State Roads 407 and 529 on Saturday morning, according to the Florida Highway Patrol. Another man was taken to Parrish Medical Center with minor injuries, while another man involved in the crash didn’t suffer any injuries, troopers said. Troopers said the motorcyclist, identified as 24-year-old Scott Caron, was traveling eastbound on State Road 407 when he tried to pass a car in front of him. While attempting to pass in the westbound lanes in a passing zone, Caron didn’t see an oncoming car and collided with it head on, troopers said. The car Caron attempted to pass suffered minor damage from debris, troopers said.
