The Central Florida-based Running 4 Heroes nonprofit hosted its first annual Fallen Heroes Memorial Wednesday, honoring the lives of 275 first responders who died in the line of duty.

The community is honoring an Apopka firefighter who died weeks after being injured on the job during a tribute on Monday.
