Passmore is a firefighter paramedic at OFD station 10 in Orlando. "He always said that I would make a good firefighter paramedic because of how I work around people, how I work under pressure and my ability to train," Passmore said. When not on shift at the station or spending quality time with his son, Passmore finds time to train new medics entering the department. From serving abroad to right here in Central Florida, Passmore said he wants people to know what the Fourth of July means to him.

Crump's journey spans more than two decades, and he's impacted the lives of hundreds of children. "In the city of Orlando, I get the opportunity to actually work with middle-school kids," Crump said. "We talk about how to go to college, how to get into college, how to stay in college," he said. "I'm happy to see that they succeeded, going to college, and that's what makes it all worth this while," he said.
